Building a First Aid Kit for a Sea Kayak Expedition

To create a first aid kit that will help keep us safe on our expedition, we’ve devised a series of six principles to help guide the scope of what it will contain. We believe any useful expedition first aid kit should be activity, remoteness, and duration specific; in-line with our evacuation plan, within our scope of practice, and easy to use. We’ll explain below how these principles apply to our expedition, but they can serve as a useful guideline for creating a kit for any backcountry adventure.
